This script will allow you to sell digital products using a PayPal "Buy it Now" button. The files can be any type of digital media downloadable by a web browser, e.g. zip file, pdf, mp3, gif, jpeg and many more. The files to be downloaded can be kept in a secure location below the site root so that they can only be accessed by the script.
The script allows a single download of a file once the purchase transaction has been verified by PayPal's instant payment notification. All transactions are checked to ensure that the item name, item amount, currency, and PayPal account are correct. This prevents all possible fraudulent transactions. The current version is written in PHP and runs on all servers that have PHP installed.
