Setting up 802.11 ad hoc p2p network

Begin by having all the PCs use the same workgroup name; configure each PC with a static IP address and a common subnet mask. So, for example, every PC would be given a subnet address of 255.255.255.0 and an IP address of 192.168.0.11 (PC1), 192.168.0.12 (PC2), and so on; change the wireless mode on each pc to "ad hoc"; set the SSID of each computer to the same name (e.g. WLAN). The procedure for sharing a drive, folder or printer is pretty much the same, just right click the icon and select sharing for the drive or folder, and select properties for the printer and select share this printer.
