New Sony Ericsson range focuses on imaging capabilities
The flagship of the new range is the S700, a swivel-design handset with 1.3 mega-pixel camera, Memory Stick slot and 262,000 colour QVGA screen. It supports Bluetooth, Java 2.0 and also includes the HI Corporation Mascot 3D engine. It can function as an MP3 player or use MP3 files as ringtones. The K700, expected in Q2 2004, occupies a monobloc form factor similar to the T630, but with a larger, 65,000 colour screen. It also features a VGA digital camera, 32 Mb of memory, Bluetooth and a built-in FM radio. There is support for Java and the Mascot 3D engine.
